Creo Parametric 2.0 launching problem
Hi, I tried to launch Creo Parametric 2.0 student version after i downloaded, but i encountered a fatal error.
The system says: "Fatal error encountered. A traceback has been written to C:\Users\Public\Decouments\traceback.log Please send it to Technical Support."
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

PTC Creo 2.0 Student Edition startet nicht/ does not start
Hallo Community,
Ich habe PTC Creo 2.0 Student Edition installiert und versucht Creo Parametric zu starten. Leider kam außer dem Startbildschirm, der nach einer gewissen Zeit kam, nichts!
Ich habe bereits versucht es neu zu installieren, sowie vorhandene Lizenzen vor dem erneuten Installieren manuell aus den ProgramData von Windows zu löschen.
Des Weiteren versuchte ich das Installationspaket noch einmal ohne den Download-Manager zu downloaden, um sicher zu gehen, dass die Installationsdatei nicht beschädigt ist.
Leider brachte das alles keinen Erfolg.
Ich hoffe jemand hier kann mir helfen oder hat eine Idee woran es liegen könnte!
PS: Ich habe die erforderlichen 3GB RAM und ein 64-Bit System Windows7
Dear Community,
I installed PTC Creo 2.0 Student Edition and tried to start Creo Parametric after installing it. After a while the start window was shown but the program wasn´t starting as well!
I already tried to install PTC Creo again and removed licenses manually from Windows ProgramData but it still does not start! I also tried to download PTC Creo again but at this time not with the download manager just to get sure the installation files weren´t damaged. But this also wasn´t the solution for my problem.
So I´m in need of your help or just ideas how it could be fixed!
PS: My running System has got the necessary 3GB RAM and works with Windows7 64-Bit

I'm a student using Creo 2.0, and have had this program for months without any issues and then all of a sudden I get an error upon oppening Creo:
"License request failed for feature"
I attatched a picture of the full error message.
I don't know if it's an expired license or what. I thought I read that the student licenses never expired? I'm not sure, but thanks in advance!

Hi. this is satya. I've downloaded creo 2.0 student copy from the ptc website. I saved that on my desktop. Nextly I've turned my firewall OFF and started installation. It was asking for licence key but I couldn't find the licence file.
Could you guide me on archieving a licence key for the product?

Simple License Entry Greyed out / License Failed
Problem Outline:
These two problems are characterized by the user being unable to succesfully input their product code into "Simple License Entry" box. It can appear as one of two possible errors...
- The "Simple License Entry" field is greyed out and the user cannot input text in the box. A screenshot of this error is shown below.

- After inputting the product code and clicking "Install Licensing" the user receives a red "License Failed!" error message.
Solution:
Both of these errors are caused because something is interferring with your ability to contact our licensing servers. This could be because of an anti-virus, admin permissions, firewall, or network issue. The guide linked below will walk you through the process of generating a license file manually and installing PTC Creo 2.0 without using the "Simple License Entry".

Creo 2.0 Student Version License Failure
Hello!
I am using the Creo 2.0 Student Version and have had to request a new license a few weeks ago. I did so on the website and with the new product code I was able to create a new license file. However, when starting up Creo 2.0, I am still getting an error concerning license failure.

Creo 2.0 Parametric Fatal Error encountered
Hi there, I've been having a big problem trying to open creo on my laptop. I managed to install creo without a hassle, however when I try to open it, a window suddenly pops up that says:
Please help? i've tried re-installing Creo but this error still occurs.
My laptop Model: Inspiron 7520
Running on : Windows Home 7 Premium 64-bit (is it because of my operating system?)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3612QM CPU @ 2.10GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
Memory: 6144MB (6GB) RAM
If it's my operating system, do you think updating it to say Windows 8, will allow me to run Creo 2.0? Will updating it affect the fact that I have a locked license?
Any help would be much appreciated!

How to Fix "Fatal Error Encountered. A traceback has been written"
Problem Outline:
After installing Creo 2.0, and while attempting to launch it the following error message appears...
"Fatal error encountered. A traceback has been written to C:\Users\Public\Documents\traceback.log. Please send it to Technical Support."
This problem is because of an issue with an Intel Embedded Graphics card. This can happen when the Intel card is either the primary or a secondary GPU on the machine. The problem is most common on Creo 2.0 datecodes M090-M010.
Solution:
Fortunately the solution to his problem is relatively simple. By placing a configuration file in the "start-in" location of Creo 2.0 (by default it's public documents) Creo 2.0 will handle the integrated card in a different way, bypassing the error.
- Download the attached config.pro file
- Move the config file to C:\Users\Public\Documents
- Restart Creo 2.0
