Hi i just registered and downloaded the creo 3.0 but i havent been given a license key by my university, i have creo 2.0 already on my laptop but i wish to upgrade. I am assuming the key is somewhere in the files i downloaded but i cant find it, i havent recieved an email regarding installation of the software like i did for creo 2.0. Can someone please kindly provide some assistance.

Creo 2.0 Parametric Fatal Error encountered
Hi there, I've been having a big problem trying to open creo on my laptop. I managed to install creo without a hassle, however when I try to open it, a window suddenly pops up that says:
Please help? i've tried re-installing Creo but this error still occurs.
My laptop Model: Inspiron 7520
Running on : Windows Home 7 Premium 64-bit (is it because of my operating system?)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3612QM CPU @ 2.10GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
Memory: 6144MB (6GB) RAM
If it's my operating system, do you think updating it to say Windows 8, will allow me to run Creo 2.0? Will updating it affect the fact that I have a locked license?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Creo Simulate Student Edition - Port Conflict / License Error
Hello,
I have installed Creo 2.0 Student edition in 2013 and Parametric and simulate worked fine. After one Year the License expired and I requested a new one. I used the "reconfigure.exe" to set the new License path. In Creo Parametric everything worked fine, and i can use it without any Problems. When I start Creo Simulate the following Error occurs:
In english: "Port-conflict" "The previous restart failed. The port 51250 is also occupied. Restart Creo Parametric and all other opened PTC Applications again. We apologize for any inconvenience"
With every restart, the Port number counts up. So now I'm at Port 51256.
When I continue and open a .prt file, it loads the file. But then it shows another Error:
In english: "License-Control" "Required Creo Simulate License can not be retrieved. Contact your distribution partner."
I can't contact any support, because i only have the Student Edition.
I use Win 8 64-Bit-Version on a Lenovo Ideapad Y-500 Notebook.
Does anybody know what could solve the Problem?

Can I renew my student version, it has expired?

PTC/Creo 2.0 has been a great help for me. I have still 2 semester to go and I do not like to use solidworks for a number of reasons. Could you please give me one more year of student version?
If not one more year, may be few months more?

Having difficulty installing the free University/student Creo 3.0.
I have attempted running the setup application. But I have ran into licencing issues and I tried various things. I would like to not I have fallowed the instructions of instillation http://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo2_student_uni.pdf
I also have attempted the setup-school but during installation I am asked for login info. And it freezes completely.
I would appreciate any assistance on what the correct steps I should take.

Problem with starting CREO
Hi,
During start of Creo pops up a message window:

I am using Creo Parametric 2.0, windows 7, I just updated Adobe Flash.
I had not been using Creo Student license for some time, I was not aware of any expiry of student licenses.

Creo 3 installation issues
I am trying to load Creo 3 on computer for FTC team. M010 installed but with just the basics - no Diagram, NC stuff, etc. Another member downloaded and has the full suite. A third has the "reduced" capability as I have gotten. The license files are much larger 17K vs. 7K. Creo 2 was previously loaded, since uninstalled.
A couple of uninstall and reinstall had the same ending. Now I get an ERROR message when trying to install M010.
M010 was uninstalled, M020 downloaded and attempted to install. At the license step, I get the rotating blue circle and a "Not Responding" message.
Any idea what is going on? The team wants to learn Diagram and Harnessing but can't if licenses aren't there.

Irreversible Error Problem
According to an error we are getting, our licenses for Creo 2.0 Expired on Feb 26th, which was a little weird, as I myself have been in Creo for past few days, with no problem.
As a result, we are trying to download the new Creo 3.0, but running into an error when trying to download the new software. We are getting a "An Irreversible Error has occurred." That's it. All we can do is then exit the download manager. Has anyone else run into this problem? How do we fix it to download the new version?

Creo 2 Upgrade to M100 for students ?
Hey, i use PTC Creo 2.0 Student Edition (mainly Parametric) on my Laptop with Windows 8.1. I have Creo 2 M070 but it takes about 3 minutes to load and I have problems with some operations. I have read, that Version M100 is needed for Windows 8.1 but I dont find a way to update the software. Another problem is that I cant use the Internet explorer in Creo 2 beacause IE 11 is also not supported in M070. I hope someone can help me because I need the software to study. Creo 1.0 license utility problem
Hi everybody !
It's now two days that i search all the way to find a solution to install Creo 1.0. I want to install the school version i'm following the process that the help gives you. The trouble is that when i'm downloading Creo 1.0 License utilityi can't make it run my computer show me two possibility :
The installation is made correctly (if i press it nothings happen)
Make a reinstallation (if i press it well nothing happens too !)
I'm getting a bit crazy because then i can't create my PTC account and then i can't use it,
I need it for my school project so if you can give me some advice i would be grateful !

Limit on Number of Installs per Account?
Is there a limit to the number of times I can install Creo3 Student Edition on my PTC Account?
I've been getting a licensing error on install but when my partner types in their account, it works fine.
I still need to install on several more computers at our lab. What do I need to do?

Installation Error with Creo Elements Pro DVD
Hi, I downloaded the software for Creo Elements Pro and I'm trying to install it on my Windows 7 but when I open the setup program it immediately freezes.
It says a problem has occurred and the program has been stopped.
Not sure if this is a problem with the software or the computer, but this laptop is new.
I have tried downloading the software numerous times but the same problem keeps occurring. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

PTC Creo 2.0 Academic Edition Installation
Hallo zusammen.
Ich habe mir letztens im PTC Webstore die 1 Jahres-Lizenz für die Academic Edition von Creo 2.0 gekauft. Das Problem ist nur, dass der Installationsassistent sich immer wieder aufhängt und ich diesen dann gezwungenermaßen schließen muss. Das passiert jedes mal nach einer bestimmten Zeit, also an keiner bestimmten Stelle, aber meistens noch bevor ich überhaupt zum installieren komme. Jetzt habe ich mich gefragt wie ich ich jetzt nun Creo installieren soll... Kann mir da jemand helfen? Danke schon mal im voraus.

I completely installed Creo but I do not know where to access it or open it?
I have installed Creo 3.0 for university students for the free 30 days. The PTC Creo parametric, PTC creos imulate 3..., and PTC Creo options show on my wallpaper but when I click them, it says "missing shortcut," and "windows is searching for parametric.exe..."
Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to open it? I have Windows 8. I believe I installed it correctly. (I used license code and it said "success" and then "finish".)

License Request Failed for Feature
Problem Outline:
This problem is characterized by an error message that appears right after PTC Creo 2.0 launches. The error appears in a Creo window named "Warning: Message List" and typically has a large amount of text below the "License request failed for feature" which appears at the top. A screenshot of the message is shown below.
Solution:
This error appears when Creo is unable to effectively validate your license file. Often this happens when a license file expires, becomes corrorupt, is generated incorrectly or is deleted. Alternatively since your Creo license is tied to the Host ID of the first priority network card on your computer your computer may be using the wrong Host ID. Often, computers have more than one network card (wireless and LAN) and if one of the cards is enabled or disabled after licensing, the first priority network card and thus Host ID will change. If this happens, Creo will open with a message that says “License request failed for feature” and if you expand the Warning Message List dialog box, you will see “Invalid host”.
If you see "Invalid Host" in the Warning Message List dialog box then try this guide...
If you do not see "Invalid Host" or the above guide was unsuccessful, then use this guide to send Academic Support your license file....

CREO 3.0 installation doesn't boot after install
This past weekend we updated all our laptops to CRE 3.0, all went well til we got to the last two laptops. We installed CReo 3.0 same as before on a laptop that was running Creo 2.0M120 , when we clicked the Creo 3.0 icon the time dial ran for a few seconds then nothing happened , tried again same thing , no error codes etc... , we thought 2.0 may have been interferring , we deleted all the PTC files and started over from scratch , Firewall and Antivirus were off.
Same issue we click the Creo 3.0 ICon and get a time dial for about 5 seconds then it stays on the desktop screen , no errors, no codes as to what happened , it just won't run, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated , all other parts of install appear to go fine , IE getting a license, loading files, etc. no errors popped up. We did try reloading a third time with same results.
